The PMMC is limited to citizens and permanent residents of the counties: Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Thuringia only.

The PMMC is organised by Werkleitz in Halle and is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), the state of Saxony-Anhalt and the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM). Project partner are the companies Camelot, Digim, Metrix Media and the Apart Hotel as well as DOK Leipzig, Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle and the Film Academy in Lodz, Poland.
