EMAN/EMARE Mexiko grant holder Daniel Ulacia presents his latest work at Werkleitz

Visitor is a photographic essay constructing a fictitious city, one that is being built and deconstructed every day; and which leaves space for its own ghosts to inhabit it amongst its citizens.

This is a project produced from photographs taken by the artist in Halle-Neustadt, as well as archive material. It talks about abandonment and the transformation of the landscape, in an attempt to reconcile with the political memory of the place.
