On Wednesday, 20th April 2011, 9 p.m. Werkleitz and Kino Zazie in kooperation with Goethe Institut Kairo are going to present a range of films from the Arab Shorts film festival Kairo due to current reason. The films going to be shown have been selected by Marcel Schwierin, Berlin-based curator and artistic director of the Kairo event. 

Arab Shorts is a new platform for young independent short film from Arabia. Eleven curators from the arabic world have been invited by the Goethe Institute to select narrative, documentary and experimental productions which mirror the vivid and dynamic film culture in the arab countries.
